My name is Sam and I am emailing about a Supreme Gamer competition, currently being run by the Carphone Warehouse, that you and your society members may be interested in.
I'm not sure if you know already, but Carphone Warehouse is trying to find the "Supreme Gamer" in the UK, i.e. the person who is the best at playing computer games. The concept is that each region/area will compete locally to find their Supreme Gamer, playing in a mini-competition in store to crown the winner. The regional winner will then go on to compete against the other regional winners and will be finally crowned Supreme Gamer of the UK.
It is completely free to join and take part in, and the prizes on offer are fantastic (the winner will win a TV, computer console, and two accompanying games.)
We were hoping that you would be able to promote the competition to other students at Cardiff University, as this is a great competition for them to enter. The remaining time to join up is, however, very tight and the deadline is MONDAY 8TH FEB. However, you don't need to go into store to join up, they just do it online. The line to the site is:
